Tropical Oasis

Gently arcing balloon palm trees, colorful parrots and greenery arranged in the center of a conference room provided a focal point for a tropical themed corporate event. Guests stood either in front of it or amongst the palm trees for selfies.

This event was held in the WA Walton Event Center, Swinomish Casino and Lodge, Anacortes, Washington, in the beautiful Skagit Valley.

Throwing a Paris themed event? Consider a floor to ceiling balloon Eiffel Tower sculpture as a focal point and photo backdrop. This piece is scalable and can be made in any color. Who knew the real Eiffel Tower is currently painted chocolate brown? Add lights to really make it sparkle.

Tulip Balloon Columns

Tulip Balloon Columns

The first event of the 2015 Skagit Tulip Festival, at Cascade Mall, selecting the ambassadors for the Tulip Festival. We co-sponsored the event by providing 7′ tall Tulip Balloon Columns. Each Tulip is a twisted balloon flower on a stem, creating a full but airy bouquet in bright tulip colors.

Columns can be made larger or smaller. Consider centerpiece versions of this fun design. On narrower pillars and a burst of tulips on top fills the room with bright colors.

Variations of this column include other balloon flowers like daisies or roses. Instead of a giant bouquet of flowers on top, consider hearts or stars spraying out of the top.

Tenth anniversary balloons

Tenth anniversary balloons

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of being in business. A local mortgage company held their celebration at a high-end bowling alley in Bellevue, Washington. The first thing guests saw when they walked in was the bold, festive tenth-anniversary balloons. It’s a great backdrop for a company photo and for selfies with your co-workers.

Over-sized letters and numbers are iconic and communicate quickly an idea or concept. Raising a million dollars for a charity? Imagine 8′ tall numbers along a wall. Incorporate the sculpture into marking the fundraising progress.

Do the columns look a little different than normal? Good eye. This is what is known as a square pack in the balloon industry. Alternating sizes of balloons create flat surfaces and clean sharp angles. As the old saying goes, straight is the line of duty, curved is the line of beauty. May I suggest straight lines can also be beautiful?

Imagine the smaller (Black) balloons imprinted with your logo, tastefully worked into the design.

Square Balloon Arch

Square Balloon Arch

Square balloon arch

For the grand opening of the emergency wing of a local hospital. The opening was in the fall, hence the fall colors selected.

Modern, clean, linear, the square balloon arch is a refreshing alternative to the curved lines of most balloon arches. Because a frame is used, signs are more easily hung from the square balloon arch. Options include square packing the balloons. That technique creates four flat sides to the balloon arch legs. Attaching signs is much easier to a square pack balloon column or arch since one is attaching to a flatter surface.

For evening events, especially outdoors, opt to light it up, literally lighting the way to an entrance or other focal areas.

The square balloon arch is a great arch for attaching letters, logos, and other elements. Consider top print balloons to further communicate your message.
